Practice makes perfect.... although perfection is so over-rated!

Hi! My name is Mel Nott, and welcome to my photography blog!

My experience with photography first started many years ago when I would quite happily take snaps of anything and anyone, the result being me having dozens of boxes of photographs tucked away in my house, only ever to be looked at again when I am feeling that tug of nostalgia that we all experience.... thankfully in these times of digital photography a whole new world has opened up to me and I am falling in love with photography all over again. I love natural light photography, but am also dabbling in studio work.

After having my four children, who are my treasures, and being lucky enough to be married to a wonderful, supportive and devoted husband, I am now finding little windows of opportunity to explore and experiment with my photos. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I loved capturing them! They are moments that I never wish to forget.......

Studio

I can't wait to have a real one... LOL that will be a long way off though!

I was lucky enough to be invited to Amanda's house for a little get-together - she has a studio set-up in her garage which cleverly all hides away so the car can also fit in there - very clever! Now if I can just talk Damo into this...... hmmm back to reality!

So a group of us abused any child within reach with our cameras, flashes, strobes, change of clothes, change of props and bubbles galore!
