I love this shot!

Well we had our ILP shoot on Sunday - it was FABULOUS!! I got to meet some other really great photographers and made some friends as well! The models were beautiful, the makeup artist was gorgeous, the weather was fantastic and the location superb! And my kids even behaved themselves!

Bonus!

I am really happy with the shots and have just tried out some different processing on them.

On Saturday I got to take photos of 3 gorgeous kiddies - unfortunately the 11 month old boy was a bit quick for me (or maybe my shutter speed was a little slow!) and I didn't get any good shots of him.... next time! But I did get these two girls - these are my faves from the shoot. And thanks for the champagne D!!!!!

Portraits

YAY I have enrolled in the Portrait Photography course - it starts next week and I AM SO EXCITED!! I do okay composition-wise on my photos, but I am sure that this course will open up a whole new world!

I am the type of person who likes to be "shown" how to do things, and corrected if I am doing things wrong, so this will be perfect for me - I can read all the books and visit all the sites in the world, but without another human being actually being there to do it with me, then you can forget it!!! It's in one ear and out the other! But having said that I have learnt quite a lot from the in-ter-net, I just prefer a real-life teacher.

I really need a new monitor for home to work with my laptop - my ideal one is a Dell 22" Ultrasharp - they are only around $500.......

I stupidly did a whole lot of processing last night at home (cos I was bored and Damo was out) and this morning I have come into work and looked at them and they are horrible!!!!!

What have I done!?!?!

And what a waste of time!!!

Well at least it gave me some practice.....................

Autumn

The most beautiful time of year! The colours, the leaves, the weather! I just love it!

I have a little Japanese Maple in my backyard (at least that's what I think it is LOL) and thought I would try out my non-taking-photos-of-children skills!
